(HALF) MARATHON EFFORT AS ROBIN COMPLETES SEVENTH RUN IN SEVEN WEEKS

LCP’s UK finance director Robin Mawby is looking forward to putting his feet up after this weekend when he’ll complete his seventh half-marathon in as many weeks.

The Great Birmingham Run, which takes place on Sunday, October 13, will be the final event he will do to raise money for Diabetes UK, having already run in the Capesthorne Hall, Church Stretton, Great Bristol Half Maraton, Rutland, Cheltenham and Shrewsbury.

“I’m looking forward to the big finish on Sunday and am hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for this great charity,” he said. “I ran a personal best at Cheltenham, finishing in one hours 55 minutes and 24 seconds, so if I get close to that in Birmingham I’ll be pleased.”
