CHURCHILL CENTRE GETS INTO THE CHRISTMAS SWING
10/12/2019The Churchill Centre in Dudley has kicked off the festive period in style, with a host of entertainment and family events taking place.
A busker entertained shoppers while an elf workshop ran free crafting sessions for children, where they made Christmas cards and pictures. A face painter also provided festive looks and there was also a charity tombola, which was raising funds for St Mary’s Hospice.
This Saturday (December 14) the elf workshop will be running again in unit 8 and a Maker’s Market will be held in unit 15, with stalls run by local craft makers selling small handmade items. The Salvation Army band will run a Christmas service with Churches Together and will also hand out mince pies.
