PERSIAN RESTAURANT TO OPEN IN THE ARCADIAN

The Arcadian, one of Birmingham city centre’s leading leisure destinations, is welcoming a new restaurant with a distinctly Middle Eastern flavour.

Persia, which launches on Saturday, April 2, is a premium bar and restaurant that promises a true, authentic flavour of the region, with a menu of 24 reimagined dishes, including ghorme sabri - a flavour-packed lamb and herb stew – and zereshk polo ba morgh, one of the region’s most popular dishes of chicken leg with saffron and tomato served with Persian saffron rice.

The bar will serve 22 cocktails, all mixed by expert mixologists, as well as premium wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks, and in the evenings there will be entertainment from fire artists, magicians and dancers.

Jo Kinsella, centre manager at The Arcadian, said: “We’re thrilled to see Persia is almost ready to open its doors to the public. The interior is very special and it will soon be another must-visit destination for anyone enjoying the best Birmingham has to offer.”

Its opening times are Monday-Thursday: noon-11pm, and Friday-Sunday: noon-2am.
